Some amazing simulations for learning Science

I was just at the ELearn 2016 Conference in Washington DC and saw some amazing presentations from a variety of teachers, researchers, computer scientists, etc.

One talk was given by a Biology teacher in an IB school. He was talking about using powerful simulations to teach his students.

One was a called called Eyewire. It is a game that lets you map a neuron. It is really something.

The other was GeneCube designed by a Biology teacher for his high school students.
genecube It is a "cube" that forms of set of interactive simulations of various complex scientific processes and concepts.
